Comic Book Readers
orkin 1947
what’s this?
Little girls read comics from the very beginning of their incarnation??

Let the record show that this was from an era of comics where other types of book existed other than “Superhero”. It was the 40s. They were probably reading teen romance or funny animals. Not disparaging those types of book, my point is that more variety in content leads to more readers.
